GGB offers designer’s handbook for filament-wound bearings in Chinese

GGB, formerly Glacier Garlock Bearings, now offers in Mandarin Chinese a designer’s handbook for its line of high-load, self-lubricating, filament-wound bearings. These products, including GAR-MAX®, High-Strength GAR-MAX® (HSG™), MLG™, GAR-FIL®, HPM™, HPF™ , MEGALIFE® XP and MEGALIFE® XT, combine the excellent lubricating properties of filled polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) with the high strength of an oriented glass fiber wound structure. In addition to high load capacity, they offer low-friction operation, excellent dimensional stability and a wide range of sizes and shapes. The handbook covers general characteristics and advantages, material descriptions, properties, data for designers, performance, installation and machining, standard products and a data sheet for bearing design calculations.
