11/28/2007 GGB Bearing Technology acquires injection molding firmGGB Bearing Technology, formerly Glacier Garlock Bearings, an EnPro Industries company, has acquired Böhringer Kunststofftechnik GmbH, Sinsheim-Hilsbach, Germany (http://www.boehringer-gmbh.com). The company specializes in precision injection molding of high-performance plastics, including tool- and mold-making and rapid prototyping. “We have been sourcing our solid-polymer offerings from Böhringer for the past two years,” said GGB President Bernd Fischer. “Now that the company is part of the GGB family, we will be able to even further leverage its expertise and capabilities in this important product sector.” Operating as a wholly owned subsidiary of GGB Heilbronn GmbH , the company The company employs 60 and serves the automotive, appliance, communication, electronic and measurement devices markets.
